I love your Introduction paragraph. This really explains how your interests and activities from high school led you to further use of social media to assist in others in politics, as well as yourself in your campaign. These experiences really highlight your abilities and prove to the readers that you are a professional and knowledgeable blog author, especially on those topics you chose for your blog. Excellent job!
Your policies stem from our social media safety discussion, which are key points to remember. However, explaining how these these key points were used to create your site policy would be beneficial to the reader.
I look forward to reading your other sections of the outline, such as the background for the paper, as well as the strategies used, success of those strategies, and your analysis.
Dan, Great start. I agree with Dawn that your introduction tells who you are.
Thus far my suggestion would be in reference to the plan and policies section. While all that information is crucial, I wonder if either placing a hyperlink to it on your blog or inserting a screen shot of it would be visually stimulating. Just an idea.
I look forward to reading the rest of your story as it develops.
Your blog is coming along, and I love the pictures you have provided.
If you were to take your analysis of your blogs performance, what would you say were the best posts, and drivers to your blog were? You mentioned Twitter ... is there something you would have done differently to gain more results?
Also, did you incorporate Pinterest and Facebook? If so, how did they relate to your Twitter strategies?
I think I could have Tweeted at people which could have encouraged them to look at my blog a bit more as well as post my page in the Facebook group as well.
I really liked the background for this paper. You added a lot of info about your past uses of Facebook for federal leaders and others. You also mentioned that this influenced your posts. How do you feel these experiences changed the way you post? In your plans and policies I like that you wrote some good rules to guide other people’s Facebook interactions. You could also use this section to provide a policy for your blog.
I like that you incorporated the graph into the analysis. You could also go more into the numbers for each week. That would make it easier to see which weeks were the most successful.

Hi Dan,
ReplyDeleteYes, your Facebook page would have been great to post within the Marist Facebook group, as well as on Pinterest.
It would be a nice touch to take a screen shot of your Facebook page, and include it in your Storify.
Nice job Dan!
